The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s Meadowbrook Alternative Program hosted an interactive puppy yoga event for students in grades 9-12 on Dec. 9. 

In an extraordinary display of leadership, resilience, and community education, eighth-grade student Austin Bird organized and led a two-day lesson on adaptive sports.

Leadership students, led by Brad Seidman, brought the Kennedy High School community together for an Academic Field Day on Nov. 25.
