Calhoun High School senior captain and quarterback Timmy Lynch has been named to the Nassau County Football Coaches Association’s Golden 12, honoring the county’s top scholar-athletes for excellence in both academics and athletics.  

Lynch earned this recognition with a high weighted average, strong SAT performance, and an outstanding season on the field, totaling 1,300 passing yards and 17 touchdowns. He was also named All-County and selected to the Nassau County Senior Bowl Classic team.  

Lynch and the Colts are led by Head Coach Nick Rawls.
