Calhoun High School senior captain and quarterback Timmy Lynch has been named to the Nassau County Football Coaches Association’s Golden 12, honoring the county’s top scholar-athletes for excellence

The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District’s Meadowbrook Alternative Program hosted an interactive puppy yoga event for students in grades 9-12 on Dec. 9. 

In an extraordinary display of leadership, resilience, and community education, eighth-grade student Austin Bird organized and led a two-day lesson on adaptive sports.

Leadership students, led by Brad Seidman, brought the Kennedy High School community together for an Academic Field Day on Nov. 25.  

This Thanksgiving season, our Central High School District once again showed what it means to lead with heart.
