Kennedy’s Jack Levitt Named News 12 Scholar Athlete

Jack Levitt, a Kennedy High School senior and All-County Honors pole vaulter on the school’s Track & Field team, has been named a News 12 Scholar Athlete.
Levitt also holds the school record for the highest ever pole vault jump, recorded at 11’6”. This height earned him a division champion title and qualified him for the state meet.
Levitt is involved in various clubs, including co-founding the school’s Rocket and Pre-Med Clubs. He is also in the school’s rigorous Advanced Science Research program. Through his passion for science, Levitt co-founded a non-profit that uses 3D printers to help disabled individuals perform routine tasks.
He will receive a $1,000 scholarship from News 12 sponsor, Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
