Merrick Avenue Middle School students recently visited the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Navy Seal Museum.  

Students were guided through the museum by an actual Navy Seal, viewed a documentary about Lt. Michael Murphy, and then went on an adventure simulation ride.  

The family of Michael Murphy came and talked with the kids as they viewed the museum, which was so special.  

The museum exhibits included Navy Seal training and the history of Navy Seals and their service during World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam and the War on Terror.  Teachers, Ms. Gumersell, Ms. Bishop coordinated this opportunity for the students.
